Jeff Fenton is alarmingly disarming. If you don’t want your remodel project to reflect your inner nature, don’t use Jeff. He’s intuitive, intelligent, charming and zeros in on a person’s essence as a stealth bomber might; snacking on subtle clues you may not even know you’re giving off. His work is inspiring, delightful and sometimes edgy. How does that turquoise and lime green painted kiva possibly work together? And yet…it does.

The disarming part comes when all the hoopla ends, the money’s paid, the energy expended and he and helper cohorts have left. The place somehow is inextricable, uncontrollably peaceful, light and warm. You’ll find yourself saying, yup, I can live here, as a matter of fact, I’m happy to live here, gosh darn it, I’m even proud to live here. And something inside has changed, thanks to Jeff. It’s the confidence to be myself because the room is wearing me. That rascal! The experience is scary and delightful all at once. Cheap thrills I would highly recommend to anyone.
