Jeff Fenton
Interior Designer
Jeff Fenton is co-owner of IM design studios.
Jeff moved to Santa Fe, NM, in 2002 where he and his partner Chris Martinez built a dynamic interior design business including
diverse projects ranging from single-room makeovers; to complete home remodels; to the comprehensive interior design of newly
constructed luxury homes.
Jeff works closely with his clients to develop
a vision for their homes that centers on connection. As an open communicator, Jeff develops relationships that reach far beyond
the typical business exchange. Among his many skills are design concept, presentation layout, project management, budget management,
sourcing, networking, and the ancient practice of Feng Shui. Beyond his commitment to his clients, he is very active in his
community, volunteering his design expertise and time to several organizations including the NM Museum of Art, Santa Fe Design
Week, The Buckaroo Ball, Assistance Dogs of the West, and The Life Monologue Project. Jeff is also contributing editor of
the Design column in Santa Fean magazine.
Prior to his career in interior design, Jeff spent 15 years as a retail management executive. He worked for
five years at Bloomingdales as an executive in the men’s department before joining Gap, Inc. During his 10 years at
Gap, Jeff held several corporate and field positions including District Manager, Washington DC; Manager of Product Communications,
San Francisco; and Regional Manager, Seattle. Jeff was consistently recognized for his achievements in sales growth, operational
control, human resources development, brand management and leadership.
